The Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary in West Sikkim forms a natural border between India & Nepal. Full bloom of the rhododendrons is usually expected in the months of April – May, a time in which the entire valley turns polychromatic by red, pink and white rhododendrons.

Day 2 : Gorkhey to Bhareng (Trek); Bhareng to Hilley (9000 ft) (by Car)
Trek to Varsey (10000 ft) and back through the rhododendron forest (5 km + 5 km)
Hilley to Okhrey (by car)
Day 3 : Okhrey to NJP
