The trek starts from Yuksom, West Sikkim, and offers splendid views of the Kabru peaks, Mt. Pandim, Mt. Tenchenkhang, Mt. Kokthang, Mt. Rathong, and a grand view of Mt. Kanchenjunga. The crystal clear emerald water of Samiti Lake, near ‘Viewpoint 1’ of Goecha La, is a sight to behold.

Day 0 : New Jalpiaguri to Yuksom (5800 ft) 
Day 1 : Yuksom to Bakhim (8600 ft)– 12 km 
Day 2 : Bakhim to Phedang (12110 ft) – 5 km 
Day 3 :  Phedang to Dzongri (12960 ft) -4 km 
Day 4 : Dzongri to Dzongri Top (13675 ft) to Dzongri – 0.8 km + 0.8 km 
            Dzongri to Kokchurang (12000 ft) to Thansing (12900 ft) – 6km 
Day 5 : Thansing to Lamuney to View Point One (14960 ft) – 9km 
            Viewpoint One to Samiti Lake to Lamuney to Thansing – 9km 
Day 6 : Thansing to Kokchurang to Phedang (via alternative route through dense forested trail) to Tshoka (9700 ft) – 16 km 
Day 7 : Tshoka to Yuksom -14 km
